The Miracle of Coffee
Every delicious cup of coffee is the result of a miracle formed through millions of chain reactions. And every molecule of flavour is created through an invisible thread of relationships: plants converting light into food, microbes releasing nutrients into the soil, fungi exchanging minerals with underground root systems, animals and insects transforming plant energy, and decomposers returning all back to life. What you taste is the symphony of nature. But without healthy soil, the chemistry of life unravels. Every ritual we cherish, and the magic of being alive, begins to fade.
From Seed to Cup
Coffee trees are picky! They’re unlikely to thrive outside specific latitudes and ideal climate conditions. Exceptional coffee is the byproduct of unique microclimates, rich fertile soil, and the loving care of farmers nurturing rich ecosystems that give harvest to the flavours fuelling our sensory systems.
We source directly from regenerative farmers producing rich coffee flavours while healing the planet we call home. Our mission is to bring you the tastiest coffee that gives back to farmers rewilding Our Planet, so what we consume today plant the seeds of a beautiful tomorrow.
Where the Coffee Grows Wild
Our first expedition takes us into the heart of Indonesia, where coffee farmers pave the way for exceptional flavours and regenerative practices that heal our planet exist right in front of us. Every cup of Wilde Coffee tells the story of Tri Hita Karana: the Balinese principle of harmony between nature, humanity, and spirit, transcending across to the Indonesian archipelago of over 17,500 islands.
More is coming!
We are currently testing additional arabica and robusta beans from around Indonesia. Thank you for understanding the lengthy process to ensure we provide only the best (and sustainable) beans! 💙
Coffee on the Climate Frontier
For many of us around the world, coffee is a daily ritual shared with friends and family. Yet a single cup of black coffee emits 0.258 kg of CO₂e (carbon dioxide equivalents), and a latte more than triples that. Drinking one cup per day for an entire year is effectively burning 11 gallons of gasoline.
But coffee is more than a drink. It’s the livelihood of 25 million farmers worldwide. And climate change is already reshaping our soils, water cycles and ecosystem health — up to 97% of land in productive regions may no longer be suitable for coffee (and other everyday staples) by 2050.
Rising temperatures, erratic rainfall, droughts, and diseases like leaf rust threaten coffee yields. It’s not just about the beans. Small farmers, already challenged by land, income, infrastructure, and bargaining power, are facing deeper poverty.
The truth is: coffee can also be part of our solution. Through agroforestry, soil care, and regenerative practices, farmers are restoring the health of our soil, sequestering carbon from the atmosphere, and building resilience from climate extremes.
By purchasing Wilde coffee, we support growers who are on the frontlines of climate action and we directly take part in the movement. Every cup of coffee can either drive the climate crisis or fuel a regenerative future worth living.
