For centuries, Sumatra and Java have dominated Indonesia's specialty coffee scene. But Bajawa is carving out its own reputation as it gains attention in the world of specialty coffee. Just east of Bali. Past Komodo Island. Flores stretches 350 kilometers across the Java Sea. The Bajawa plateau rests between two peaks: Mount Inerie and Mount Ebulobo. The land is rich in andosol soil, formed from the weathering of volcanic ash and glass. They cover only 1–2% of Earth's surface.

Bajawa Orange is clean and complex, bright and unexpected. It breaks convention from traditionally heavy-bodied coffee found across Indonesia. This coffee opens with orange caramel notes and a hint of lightly toasted nuts. It finishes with a subtle taste of black tea. Each cup is both familiar and surprising: a reflection of the island’s wild and untamed character.

In 2012, Flores Bajawa earned its place on the Geographical Indication, solidifying its status as a distinct coffee origin with qualities that set Bajawa coffee apart from other regions.
